HMI Panel Design

Operator-Machine Interface — Intuitive Control, Fast Response

HMI Panel Design

HMI (Human Machine Interface) is a system that allows operators to interact with production machines and lines through a touchscreen interface. A correctly designed HMI reduces operator errors, increases machine efficiency and shortens fault response time.

At Botex System we develop projects on Siemens Comfort/Basic Panel, Weintek and Proface HMI platforms. Each interface is designed from scratch, taking into account the machine process, operator experience and safety requirements.

Turkish/English multilingual interface, password-protected access levels, alarm history screens and machine maintenance counter functions are provided as standard.

Our HMI Design Scope

  • Siemens, Weintek and Proface HMI platforms
  • Multilingual interface (TR / EN / DE / other)
  • Password-protected multi-level access management
  • Alarm history, trend graph and reporting screens
  • Machine maintenance and fault tracking module

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions and answers about HMI Panel Design

What screen sizes are available in HMI panel design?+
In Botex System projects, 4", 7", 10", 12", 15" and 21" touchscreen HMI displays are used. Screen size is determined according to operator working distance, information density to be displayed and panel design. Models with IP65 protection class suitable for industrial environments are preferred.
How many languages does the HMI interface support?+
Botex System HMI interfaces include Turkish and English as standard. German, French, Arabic and other languages can be added upon customer request. The operator can instantly change the language option on the screen they use. This feature is especially important for factories working with foreign engineers and technicians.
Can you update my existing HMI screen?+
Yes, we can analyze and update existing HMI programs. We can transform old and slow interfaces into modern, user-friendly design. At the same time, we replace old model HMI screens with new models and establish connection with the existing PLC. Updates can be made without stopping the production process.
Can you define different user authorizations for the HMI panel?+
Yes, multi-level password-protected access management is a standard feature of our HMI design. Different user levels such as operator, shift supervisor, engineer and manager can be defined. Each level can only access the screens and functions it is authorized for; this minimizes the risk of incorrect intervention.
Can I see the alarm history on the HMI?+
Yes, alarm history screen is included as standard in all Botex System HMI designs. Each alarm is recorded with date, time, alarm type, machine location and accepting operator information. These records provide critical data in fault root cause analysis and maintenance planning.
